Up Words Workshops merge two of my passions—writing and encouraging children and youth to write. I find young writers delightfully imaginative, energy boosting and courageous. Together we explore the creative process, improve writing and editing skills, and investigate publication.

The Up Words philosophy of facilitating workshops is one of having fun while working hard. We believe it is important to both inspire and fan the flame within and instruct in techniques. Through creative activities, writing exercises, sharing and critiquing of work in a positive atmosphere, children, teens and adults learn to access their writing potential.
